Get ready for a thrilling lineup of games inspired by the popular Fairy Tail franchise! Kodansha Game Creators Lab, in collaboration with Hiro Mashima, has announced the release of three new indie games under the "Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild" initiative. These titles, designed for PC, include Fairy Tail: Dungeons, Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc, and Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic. The first two games are set to launch on August 26 and September 16, 2024, respectively, while more details on Fairy Tail: Birth of Magic will be shared soon.
"This indie game project was born from Hiro Mashima's desire to see a Fairy Tail game come to life," explained Kodansha in their announcement video. "These games are crafted with love for Fairy Tail, reflecting the unique strengths and sensibilities of their indie developers. They promise to be enjoyable for both Fairy Tail enthusiasts and gamers alike."
Fairy Tail: Dungeons Releasing on Aug. 26, 2024
Fairy Tail: Dungeons is an innovative deck-building roguelite adventure game. Players will dive into the Fairy Tail universe, navigating dungeons with a limited number of moves and a strategic deck of skill cards to defeat enemies and progress. Developed by ginolabo, the game features a captivating soundtrack by Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta, blending Celtic-inspired tunes to enhance the game's atmosphere and narrative.
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc Releasing on Sept. 16, 2024
Fairy Tail: Beach Volleyball Havoc offers a dynamic sports action experience with 2vs2 multiplayer beach volleyball matches. Expect a mix of competition, chaos, and magic as you choose from a roster of 32 characters to form your team. This fun-filled game, developed by tiny cactus studio, MASUDATARO, and veryOK, promises to deliver an action-packed and enchanting volleyball experience.
