Pokémon GO's Adventure Week returns in 2024, bringing a wave of in-game rewards and exciting encounters! Following July's events, this August event promises a thrilling experience.
Event Highlights:
Adventure Week kicks off Friday, August 2nd, at 10 am and runs until Monday, August 12th. The event spotlights Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon. Expect increased wild spawns of these ancient creatures, boosted hatching rates from 7 km Eggs, and themed Field Research tasks offering encounters.
Shiny Aerodactyl hunting is a major draw, with heightened encounter chances. Other Rock-type Pokémon like Diglett and Bunnelby will also appear more frequently.
7 km Eggs will hatch Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. Field Research tasks offer additional chances to encounter these Pokémon, alongside Aerodactyl Mega Energy.
PokéStop spins yield double XP, with a massive five times XP bonus for the first spin each day. Egg hatching also receives a double XP boost.
Bonus Content and Raids:
New PokéStop Showcases and Collection Challenges await, rewarding players with Stardust, Pokémon encounters, and more Aerodactyl Mega Energy. Five-star raids featuring Moltres, Thundurus Incarnate Forme, and Xerneas add further challenge.
