Devil's Purge, the heavy metal AR shooter, is receiving a major update, going free-to-play and adding even more pulse-pounding music tracks! Experience the initial levels—over 60 in total—and blast your way through the forces of Hell today.
Last year, during my trip to Portugal, I had the chance to play Devil's Purge, an AR shooter from Ontop. This game features intense battles against demons and the devil himself, all set to a killer heavy metal soundtrack.
If you've been hesitant to try Devil's Purge, now's the perfect time! The soundtrack is expanding, and the game is now free-to-play (sort of). Inspired by Doom, Devil's Purge uses a shareware model. You can play several initial levels for free, with the option to purchase the full game.
Devil's Purge isn't just about standing still and shooting. Active movement is key to dodging enemies and exposing their weak points. This isn't your average mobile game; it's a far cry from Pokémon Go.
Blast 'em!
This update includes a host of new tracks from independent metal artists like Avesso, Visceral, Zero Massive, Tales for the Unspoken, and many more, adding to the already brutal soundtrack. With over 60 levels and a customizable equipment system that lets you utilize resources from previous sessions, there's never been a better time to take on the forces of Hell!
The free-to-play update launches today! Find Devil's Purge on the iOS App Store.
