Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly anticipated the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a crossover many fans celebrated. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate and speculation. Various theories emerged, comparing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The truth, however, is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and decision-maker, explained the omission. The item bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. Opting for the female V was a logical choice, given Johnny's male identity, and also a personal preference for Mills.

The lack of the male V wasn't a deliberate exclusion, but a practical decision. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
