The January 9th stream cancellation directly resulted from the wildfires. Several cast and crew members experienced significant personal losses and disruptions. Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray were forced to evacuate, while producer Kyle Shire tragically lost his home and belongings. Thankfully, all are safe. Other cast members have shared updates expressing relief and support.

In line with their commitment to community, the Critical Role Foundation is contributing $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund to aid those affected by the fires.
