Clash of Clans Tabletop Game Hits Kickstarter Soon

Authore: SavannahUpdate:May 18,2025

Clash of Clans is expanding its universe into the realm of tabletop gaming with an exciting new project. Supercell, the game's developer, has partnered with Maestro Media to bring us "Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid," a tabletop adaptation of the popular mobile strategy game. Fans can look forward to a Kickstarter campaign launching later this month, offering exclusive early pledge rewards such as a miniature of the iconic Golden Barbarian King.

Maestro Media, known for their work on "Hello Kitty: Day at the Park" and "The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls," is at the helm of this project. The design team includes industry veterans Eric M. Lang and Ken Gruhl, who have previously worked on acclaimed games like "Star Wars: The Card Game" and "XCOM: The Board Game." Their involvement hints at a potentially dynamic and engaging tabletop experience, possibly incorporating an app for managing game elements, similar to the approach used in "XCOM: The Board Game."

This move into tabletop gaming is another step in Clash of Clans' multimedia expansion, following collaborations with entities like WWE and early-stage film projects. While a board game might seem like a small leap compared to other ventures, it's a significant one for the franchise, offering fans a new way to engage with the game's universe.

The big question on everyone's mind is how well the essence of Clash of Clans will translate to the tabletop format. Will it stay true to the original game's mechanics, introduce innovative twists, or surprise us with something entirely new? Only time will tell.
