Get ready, Clash of Clans fans! A monumental update is on the horizon for March 2025, bringing changes that the community has been clamoring for. This update is set to be one of the most transformative in the game's history, with several features set to be phased out soon.
No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine a world where you can launch attack after attack without any wait times. That's right, the March 2025 update is eliminating training times for troops, spells, and siege machines. This means you can dive into back-to-back battles, making the gameplay more dynamic and fast-paced. Hero recovery times are also being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change will benefit players in the Titan League and below, although the Legend League will maintain its current eight-battle limit per day.
This significant update reflects Supercell's ongoing commitment to streamline the game by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times further empowers players to enjoy the game without artificial constraints.
Alongside these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will become obsolete and will be phased out. They will no longer be available in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
Introducing the new Match Anytime system, designed to keep the action flowing even when there aren't enough active real bases available. This system lets you attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles function just like normal ones, allowing you to gain loot and trophies, but without impacting the defender. Already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, this feature is now expanding to multiplayer battles as well.
With the potential for more battles per session, adjustments to Trophy Curves are necessary. The number of trophies earned from victories will be reduced to balance out the increased battle frequency. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized to a consistent 10 minutes for all players.
