Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game
Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a partnership with the BIG Festival, featuring a prestigious presentation of winners.
Thirteen categories were contested, with finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable on the show floor, a notable inclusion of mobile titles alongside PC games, reflecting the growing importance of the mobile gaming market.
The "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known but exceptional games. This win further solidifies its position in the gaming world.
