Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.
Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program is already in place, offering select players early access to core gameplay elements. Feedback from this beta testing phase will be crucial in shaping the final product.
This announcement also impacts the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is unlikely in the near future, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
