Using the App with the Sensor Scanner:

Note that the app and scanner operate independently. Signals are sent either to the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner or your phone, not both simultaneously. To receive phone notifications, initiate the sensor via the app. For scanner signals, use the scanner to activate the sensor. A scanner-initiated sensor can still be read by the phone.

For complete data on either device, remember to scan every 8 hours; otherwise, reports may be incomplete. LibreView.com provides a central location to access data from all your devices.
