A captivating West African game of strategy: Awale

Known by various names including Awele, Ayo, or Oware, Awale belongs to the Mancala family of games. Sharing similarities with East African games like Omweso, Bao, and Igisoro, it's played on a board with two rows of eight holes, using a total of 64 playing pieces.

Each player controls the row of holes closest to them. The objective? Capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible, ideally preventing them from making further moves.

Awale shares its ancestry with other Mancala games such as Ayo, Kisoro, and Omweso. Historical evidence suggests that Mancala games originated in Ethiopia during the Aksumite Kingdom.

¡Me encanta este juego! Es una excelente manera de pasar el tiempo y practicar estrategia. La única pega es que a veces la aplicación se ralentiza, pero en general es muy entretenida.

Das Spiel ist sehr interessant und fordert wirklich mein strategisches Denken heraus. Leider fehlt mir eine Option, gegen echte Spieler online zu spielen. Trotzdem eine tolle App!
