The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series may be gearing up for another thrilling ride, as the Singapore rating board has just rated "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release. This rumored remake would bundle the next two iconic entries in the series, and it's slated for a wide array of platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. If true, this collection could bring the nostalgia and adrenaline-pumping action of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4 to a new generation of gamers.

While no official word has come from Activision yet, a mysterious countdown timer within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is hinting that some exciting Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news is on the horizon. The timer is set to hit zero on March 4, 2025, adding fuel to the speculation fire.

Tony Hawk himself has added to the buzz, mentioning in a conversation with Mythical Kitchen that he's been in talks with Activision again. He teased that "something the fans will truly appreciate" is in the works. Given the success of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake in 2020, the anticipation for a follow-up featuring the next two games in the series has been palpable.

However, the journey to this point hasn't been straightforward. After the release of the acclaimed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake, the original developer, Vicarious Visions, was integrated into Blizzard to focus on other projects. Tony Hawk revealed that the initial plan was to proceed with the 3+4 remake right after 1+2, but the shift in developer resources threw a wrench in those plans.

“The truth of it is that [Activision] were trying to find somebody to do 3 + 4 but they just didn’t really trust anyone the way they did Vicarious, so they took other pitches from other studios,” Tony Hawk shared during a Twitch livestream in 2022. “Like, ‘What would you do with the THPS title?’ And they didn’t like anything they heard, and then that was it.”

Now, with the Singapore rating board's listing of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, it seems that Activision may have found a new partner to bring this project to life. The rating board lists Activision as both the publisher and developer, leaving fans eager to discover who's behind the scenes. All eyes are on March 4, 2025, when more details are expected to be unveiled.
