Paramount streams Mission: Impossible in Morse code on YouTube

Authore: EmilyUpdate:Oct 16,2025

Paramount is currently streaming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning on its YouTube channel... entirely in Morse Code.

Fans rushed to the Paramount Movies YouTube channel after it teased a full broadcast of Tom Cruise's latest action film. However, viewers won't find Ethan Hunt's high-octane adventures—instead, they'll see a knife, a radio, and endless sequences of beeps and dashes.

“A secure livestream of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning's full movie is running now,” Paramount’s description explains. "But the Entity has compromised every major streaming platform, forcing us to transmit the script in Morse Code to evade detection. We need your help decoding it.”

The stream delivers a verbatim Morse translation of the script, meaning it will take hours to transmit the entire nearly three-hour film in emotionless beeps and dashes. Even if most of the 700+ listeners can't decode every line, they're clearly enjoying the novelty.

“Favorite part incoming!” one fan quipped in the chat.

“100% a Cruise-approved stunt,” another commented.

This Morse Code premiere serves as a clever nod to the film’s digital release. The eighth Mission: Impossible installment just arrived on Prime Video and other platforms after its May theatrical debut. While it's not yet on Paramount+, at least you can... listen to it?

The YouTube stream mirrors a Morse-transmitting cabin seen in the film (also set in a snowy landscape). Don’t expect Ethan Hunt to drop by—this transmission will likely continue uninterrupted for a while.
