Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Progression Guide

In *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium*, your primary objective is to swiftly clear the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Reaching this level unlocks key features such as PvP and Boss Fights, which offer significant rewards. This guide outlines the steps to achieve these goals and provides advice on managing your stamina effectively.

Reroll

For free-to-play (F2P) players, rerolling is highly recommended to kickstart your journey optimally. At the game's launch, you'll have a chance to obtain Suomi through the rate-up banner. While it's possible to acquire her without rerolling, it might deplete your resources significantly.

Aim to reroll until you secure Suomi from the rate-up banner and either Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or discounted beginner’s banner. This combination sets you up for a robust start with Suomi and another SSR DPS unit.

Push Through the Story

Your next step is to advance through the story campaign as quickly as possible. Initially, focus solely on the story missions to level up your account. Prioritize the campaign until you reach a point where progressing requires a higher Commander level, then shift your focus to other activities.

Do Your Summons as Necessary

As you progress through missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. It's crucial to save your Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners and avoid spending them on the standard banner.

If you miss out on Suomi, dedicate all your resources to her banner. Otherwise, use standard summoning tickets (not Collapse Pieces) on the standard banner to secure your next SSR character.

Limit Break and Level Up

Your character levels are linked to your account level, so remember to visit the Fitting Room to enhance your Dolls and their weapons whenever your Commander level increases. Upon reaching level 20, you'll need Stock Bars to break the limit, which can be obtained by completing Supply Missions in the Campaign menu.

Concentrate on your main team of four Dolls, ideally including Suomi, Qiongjiu, and/or Tololo, along with other strong units like Sharkry and Ksenia. Adjust your lineup based on who you have, dropping Ksenia if you manage to get Tololo.

Do the Event Missions

At level 20, you can participate in event missions, which are time-limited and offer new side stories along with Collapse Pieces and event currency. To maximize your gains, complete all Normal missions and at least the first Hard mission. You get three attempts at Hard missions daily, which are your primary source of event currency. Use this currency to clear out the event shop, where you can purchase summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other valuable resources.

Dispatch Room and Affinity

Affinity systems are common in gacha games, and *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium* is no exception. Increase affinity levels by visiting the Dormitory and giving presents to your Dolls. Higher affinity allows you to send them on Dispatch missions, which provide idle resources and Wish Coins for a separate gacha system. Dispatch missions also offer a chance to obtain a copy of Perithya, and the Dispatch shop sells summon tickets and other useful items, so keep this activity on your regular to-do list.

Boss Fights and Combat Exercise

Focus on Boss Fights and Combat Exercise next. Boss Fights are a scoring mode where you must defeat a boss within a set number of turns, with increasing difficulty levels. A recommended team includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry.

Combat Exercise is the game's PvP mode, where losing defenses doesn't cost you points. You can strategically set a weaker defense for others to attack and farm points while you attack easy targets to accumulate your own points.

Hard Mode Campaign Missions

Once you've cleared all Normal mode campaign missions, move on to Hard mode and tackle the side battles. While these missions don't grant Commander experience, they reward you with Collapse Pieces and summon tickets, making them worthwhile.
