FFXIV Rank Requirements for FC Submarine

Unlocking the Free Company submarine in *Final Fantasy XIV* adds a whole new dimension to exploration. While diving is possible since *Stormblood*, a submarine offers a far more engaging underwater experience. This guide covers everything you need to know to acquire your FC's very own submersible.

Unlocking the Free Company Submarine in FFXIV

First, ensure your Free Company (FC) is established. For easier access to necessary vendors, aim for FC rank 6. Reaching this rank is straightforward; encourage FC members to participate in various in-game activities like dungeon clearing, leveling, crafting, gathering, and turn-ins.

Once at rank 6, head to your FC house's Company Workshop and interact with the schematic board to obtain the submersible recipe. Gather the required materials, and the recipe will be added to your FC's crafting log, allowing you to craft the submarine.

However, crafting the submarine is only half the battle. You'll also need Dive Credits to embark on underwater voyages. These credits are purchased from Resident Caretaker NPCs located in the following housing districts:

Empyreum: X:10, Y:12
Lavender Beds: X:12, Y:8
The Mist: X:11, Y:11
Shirogane: X:10, Y:14
The Goblet: X:11, Y:10

Remember, you need FC rank 6 to purchase Dive Credits, at a cost of 10,000 Company Credits each. After acquiring the credits, register your newly crafted submersible at the voyage control panel within the Company Workshop.
