The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Announced
Official Livestream Reveal
Following extensive rumors, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been officially confirmed. On April 21, Bethesda announced via Twitter (X) a dedicated livestream to unveil the remaster.
The stream will broadcast live on Bethesda's official YouTube and Twitch channels on April 22 at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT / 4 PM BST. Check the timetable below to see the start time in your local region:
First Released in 2006

Oblivion was developed by Bethesda Game Studios and co-published by Bethesda Softworks and 2K Games. Originally slated as an Xbox 360 launch title for late 2005, development delays pushed the releases of the Xbox 360 and PC versions to March 2006.
A mobile version, developed by Superscape and published by Vir2L Studios, launched in May 2006. The PlayStation 3 version followed in North America in March 2007 and in Europe in April 2007. A planned PSP version was ultimately cancelled. The game saw multiple bundled releases, packaged alongside titles like Fallout 3 and BioShock.

Last week, leaked images—reportedly from developer Virtuos' website—surfaced online. These included promotional art for Oblivion and side-by-side comparisons of the original game with its upcoming remaster. Additional details emerged, confirming the remaster will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), and PC.
Rumors also point to a potential Deluxe Edition featuring bonus weapons and the horse armor DLC pack. However, these details remain unconfirmed, as Bethesda has yet to make any official announcements. Fans can catch all the official details by tuning into Bethesda's upcoming livestream for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
