Authore: SamuelUpdate:May 13,2025

Developer Dream Dock has unveiled their latest project, *Dreadmoor*, a captivating first-person single-player action-adventure game inspired by the success of *Dredge* in 2023. In *Dreadmoor*, players will take on the role of a trawler captain navigating the treacherous waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. This immersive experience is currently in development for PC, and you can catch a glimpse of the game through the announcement trailer and the first screenshots showcased in the gallery below.

Dream Dock paints a vivid picture of *Dreadmoor*: "Take the helm of a fishing trawler and embark on a journey through a world transformed by global nuclear war. The continents have vanished beneath the waves, leaving behind a landscape of scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Engage with survivors by selling your catch, undertake quests, and strive for survival. Be vigilant with your ship's cargo hold, as creatures within might start devouring each other! Enhance your vessel and craft essential equipment to delve into the hidden depths and uncover secret locations. The waters are teeming with mutated creatures and shrouded in sinister mysteries, especially at night. Radiation poses an ever-present threat in this perilous environment..."

In *Dreadmoor*, you'll encounter over 100 species of fish, each with its own challenge. The deepest and most formidable catches demand the most unusual bait but offer substantial rewards. You'll need to scavenge for resources and explore both the surface and the underwater realms. If *Dreadmoor* piques your interest, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam and keep an eye out for further updates.
