Clash of Clans, a beloved cornerstone of mobile gaming, is about to undergo a transformative update that promises to breathe new life into the game. Supercell has announced the complete removal of troop training times, allowing players to deploy their armies almost instantly and dive into battles faster than ever before. This significant change is part of Supercell's ongoing efforts to modernize the game, which has been showing signs of its age despite its iconic status.
Following the elimination of training costs in 2022, the removal of training times marks another major shift in the gameplay dynamics. As of now, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards. However, they can still be obtained from the Trader and Gold Pass for the time being. Players are urged to use these items before the end of the month, as they will be converted to Gems thereafter.
To complement this change, Supercell is introducing a new feature called "Match Anytime." This mechanic allows players to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real opponents are available, ensuring that you can still earn rewards without affecting the owner of the base if it's defeated. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now be a standard feature.
Additionally, keep an eye out for other updates, such as the new requirement of Elixirs or Dark Elixirs for Army Donations. For a comprehensive overview of these changes and more, be sure to check out the Supercell blog.
