Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support

The festive Jingle Hells mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies offers a holiday-themed twist on Liberty Falls, but also alters weapon progression and upgrade mechanics. This guide details how to upgrade weapons and obtain Ammo Mods and Support items.

Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells

Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity levels (color-coded). Using a higher-rarity Aether Tool (e.g., Purple/Legendary) upgrades your weapon to that tier. Aether Tools can be obtained in several ways:

  • Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting zombie drop contains a chance for an Aether Tool; higher rounds yield higher rarity tools.
  • Bank Vault: Loot Keys open safety deposit boxes in the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, especially at higher reward tiers, offers a chance to acquire Aether Tools.
  • Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrades your weapon to Legendary rarity.
  • Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as rounds progress.

Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells

Currently, only the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod is available in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily obtained from Holiday Presents. These presents offer random loot, with higher-rarity rewards more likely in later rounds. Holiday Presents can be acquired through:

  • Enemy Kills: Sometimes drop directly from slain enemies.
  • Naughty or Nice Power-up: The stocking-shaped power-up grants either a "Nice" (multiple presents) or "Naughty" (vermin enemies) effect.
  • S.A.M. Machine: Spawns presents around itself when active.

Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

The Workbench is also absent in Jingle Hells, preventing Salvage-based equipment crafting. However, equipment and Support items (like Chopper Gunners, etc.) can still be found:

  • Enemy Kills: Killing enemies, especially Special and Elite enemies, can drop equipment and Support items.
  • Holiday Presents: Can contain equipment.
  • S.A.M. Trials: May reward equipment and Support.
  • Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: Contain a chance for equipment and Support.

This comprehensive guide covers the methods for obtaining weapon upgrades, Ammo Mods, equipment, and Support in the Jingle Hells mode of Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
