Le test de stress pour ce qui pourrait être le huitième et dernier patch majeur pour Baldur's Gate III est maintenant en cours. Certains joueurs de la console Sony avaient un accès précoce au patch, mais pour ceux qui n'ont pas hâte de le tester, les développeurs suggèrent une réinstallation propre du jeu.

L'une des fonctionnalités remarquables de Patch 8 est l'introduction de Crossplay, qui comble l'écart entre la console et les joueurs PC. Avec un compte Larian lié, vous pouvez inviter de manière transparente des amis de différentes plateformes à rejoindre votre aventure. Encore plus excitant est que le gameplay modde prendra en charge le jeu multiplateforme, à condition que tous les mods utilisés par le lecteur PC sont également disponibles sur Mac et les consoles, et que le lobby de l'hôte ne dépasse pas un nombre à deux chiffres de mods.
