Matajuegos, une coopérative indépendante innovante d'Argentine, a des nouvelles passionnantes pour les joueurs: leur jeu documentaire surréaliste acclamé, Atual, devrait être lancé sur PC et Android plus tard cette année. Les fans peuvent déjà pré-inscrire sur la page Steam, avec Google Play qui devrait suivre le pas sous peu.

Sorti à l'origine sur Itch.io en septembre 2022, Atual a rapidement attiré l'attention de la communauté des jeux avec sa fusion unique de narration documentaire, de gameplay expérimental et de visuels ondulés à couper le souffle. Atuel plonge les joueurs dans la superbe vallée de la rivière à la rivière impactée par le climat en Argentine. Ce jeu transcende le gameplay traditionnel, offrant un voyage expérientiel où les joueurs se transforment vers divers animaux et éléments de l'écosystème, fusionnant avec le paysage lui-même. Un moment, vous pourriez glisser dans le ciel, et le suivant, vous coulez comme la rivière.

Le jeu intègre également des interviews réelles avec des historiens, des biologistes, des géologues et des résidents locaux, fournissant un aperçu de l'histoire de la région, de son état actuel et des changements imminents dus au changement climatique. Matajuegos s'est associé au projet 12.01, une équipe documentaire internationale, pour tisser ces récits convaincants dans le jeu.
