The Open League is a football (soccer) manager simulation deeply integrated with Discord. Its core features include:

***Full 90-minute match simulations run nightly, with live play-by-play commentary streamed directly in our Discord server.

***Manage your club within a server of 30 teams across three leagues. The top three clubs earn promotion, while the bottom three face relegation. Each competitive season spans three weeks.

***The off-season features a youth camp weekend where managers scout and bid on the next generation of talent. Successful youth campaigns are the foundation of many enduring team dynasties in TOL.

***Managers can organize friendly matches and tournaments against others, often utilizing the off-season for these events.

***Teams are retained season-to-season. Player development and decline over time make squad management crucial for long-term success.

***All player transfers are negotiated directly with other managers on Discord before being finalized in the TOL app. Sharp negotiators excel here.

***Friendly Discord bots assist with team management. For example, DM your assistant Chris to issue a press release about your latest victory!

The Open League accommodates multiple timezones. Matches are currently scheduled for 7:00pm PST, EST, and GMT.
