Ronda Carta: Morocco's Favorite Card Game!

Ronda Carta is the most popular card game in Morocco, a beloved family game reminiscent of simpler times. It's fun, easy to learn, and relaxing. The objective is to accumulate the highest point total (cards and bonuses). Played head-to-head, one player deals, the other starts. Each player receives three cards. The game concludes when all cards are dealt, with the highest score winning. Remember the classic terms like Ronda, Tringa, Missa, and Souta?

The game uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

  • 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
  • 10 Espadas (Syouf)
  • 10 Oros (D'hab)
  • 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7 and 10-12.
