Data miners have uncovered a significant update to the Ethereals in World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined." Dozens of new Ethereal models have been discovered, hinting at a substantial role for this enigmatic race in the game's future. While Blizzard hasn't confirmed anything, the sheer number and detail of these new models has sparked fervent speculation among players. While the possibility remains unconfirmed, the sheer variety of models strongly suggests potential character creation options. Furthermore, the Ethereals' involvement in the Worldsoul Saga—specifically Xal'atath's role in their homeworld's destruction—and their mercantile society's similarities to the Goblins make them a compelling candidate for an allied race.
