Dark and Darker Mobile, Krafton’s mobile adaptation of Ironmace’s popular extraction dungeon crawler, is gearing up for a February 5th soft launch in Canada. A worldwide release is expected in the first half of 2024. Pre-registration remains open.
Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler mechanics. Players, solo or in parties, explore a vast dungeon battling monsters and rival players for loot. Characters draw inspiration from classic fantasy archetypes like fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards.
Following the success of the PC version, Krafton acquired the mobile adaptation rights. Significant improvements are planned before the global launch, including:
- Darkswarm and Escape Overhauls: The Darkswarm system and dungeon escape mechanics will receive significant updates, particularly to enhance party play.
- Improved Class Differentiation: Expect enhancements to basic attacks, combat mechanics, and a broader selection of weapons and skills to further differentiate classes.
