Following the monumental Update 2.0, Black Border 2 has rolled out Update 2.1, which, while not as extensive, still introduces exciting new elements to the game. The developers have listened closely to the community, addressing a range of issues and enhancing the overall experience.
What’s New in Update 2.1 of Black Border 2?
One of the most significant additions in Update 2.1 is the introduction of five new wanted characters, which you can encounter at level 36. These aren't your typical travelers; they could spell trouble. Your mission is to apprehend them before they manage to escape. Vigilance is key, as letting one slip past could have consequences you'll need to deal with.
The update also spices up border interactions with new emotes, allowing the characters you interrogate to display more personality. Whether they're trying to charm, plead, or frustrate you, these interactions will feel more dynamic and engaging.
The bribery system in Black Border 2 has seen some adjustments too. Bribes now appear only after you reject a request, making your decisions more impactful. Every choice you make now carries more weight and adds a layer of strategic depth to the game.
A small yet appreciated change is the instant reward system for building. Now, when you construct something, you'll receive your rewards immediately, rather than having to wait.
Lastly, Update 2.1 brings enhanced audio and visual effects. You'll notice new sound effects for actions like stamping and handling documents, as well as animations for warning papers, vehicle spins, and manual inspections, enriching the game's immersive atmosphere.
