Les développeurs de Zenless Zone Zero, Mihoyo (Hoyoverse), continuent d'étendre la liste du jeu. Une nouvelle bande-annonce présente l'héroïne très attendue, Evelyn Chevalier.

Evelyn, avant même sa libération officielle, a capturé le cœur de nombreux joueurs grâce aux testeurs bêta révélant une bizarrerie de combat unique: elle se déshabille partiellement pendant la bataille, jetant sa cape pour assaillir ses ennemis.

Evelyn est un personnage d'assaut élémentaire du feu S. Elle sera présentée aux côtés de Nicole, Anton et Qingyi dans la deuxième bannière de la mise à jour de Zenless Zone Zero.

La mise à jour 1.5 elle-même comprend la compensation de polychrome mihoyo coutumier (Hoyoverse). Les joueurs recevront 300 polychromes pour les corrections de bogues et 300 autres pour des améliorations techniques liées à la mise à jour, livrée par courrier en jeu.

Les prouesses de combat d'Evelyn se concentrent sur le ciblage ciblé. Ses attaques de base attirent l'agression ennemie, créant des chaînes d'attaque étendues. Les attaques en plusieurs étapes et spéciales utilisent des «limites interdites», la liant à la cible principale. Ces actions génèrent des fils tribaux et des points de brûlure, alimentant de puissantes capacités de feu qui infligent des dégâts substantiels. Son mouvement de signature, jetant sa cape contre les adversaires, a déjà fait d'elle une favorite des fans parmi ceux qui ont suivi les fuites de pré-libération.
