Le film s'inspire de classiques comme Night at the Museum , Back to the Future et Big , ainsi que des croisements de jouets à films réussis tels que Barbie . Stevenson et Elena Sandoval devraient produire pour Story Kitchen, rejoints par Kim Miller Olko, qui produira pour Toys "R" US Studios.
