Soyons francs: Mortal Kombat 1 connaît une baisse. Il semble que le contenu de la saison 3 ait été abandonné en raison de chiffres de vente décevants. De plus, la dernière bande-annonce de Pro Kompétion, le circuit eSports du jeu, ne peut être décrite que comme décevant au mieux.

Pro Kompetition 2025 possède un calice total de 255 000 $. Dans le paysage esports d'aujourd'hui, ce montant est modeste, même selon les normes de la communauté des jeux de combat (FGC).
