Big Bad Wolf, le studio acclamé derrière des titres tels que * Vampire: The Masquerade Swansong * et * le Conseil *, vient d'annoncer leur dernière entreprise: * Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss *. L'annonce s'est accompagnée d'une bande-annonce de CG frappante, présentant les joueurs au protagoniste du jeu, Noah, qui lutte avec l'empiètement de la folie, la ville submergée de R'lyeh, et le grand vieux légendaire, Cthulhu.

Situé en 2053, le récit de * Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss * se déroule sur le contexte des sociétés exploitant les profondeurs de l'océan, réveillant par inadvertance une ancienne horreur cosmique. Les joueurs assumeront le rôle de Noah, un agent de la division secrète des affaires occultes d'Interpol. Chargée d'enquêter sur la mystérieuse disparition des mineurs dans l'océan Pacifique, Noah, avec l'aide d'un compagnon d'IA nommé Key, se plongera dans les secrets de la ville enfoncée de R'lyeh. Le gameplay consiste à résoudre des puzzles complexes et à se battre pour préserver la santé mentale au milieu de l'influence exaspérante de Cthulhu.

Utilisation de la puissance de Unreal Engine 5, * Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss * promet de fournir des environnements surréalistes et qui secouent la réalité qui plongent pleinement les joueurs dans son atmosphère obsédante. La bande-annonce, déjà disponible pour la visualisation, taquine une expérience tendue et passionnante. Le jeu est prévu pour la sortie en 2026 et sera disponible sur PS5, Xbox Series X | S et PC.
