Nexon announces the end of service (EOS) for Dynasty Warriors M, the mobile game based on the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. Players who have been commanding their armies and battling enemies should prepare for the game's closure.
In-app purchases were already halted on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, no specific reason for the shutdown was given. The game's underperformance likely contributed to this decision. Launched in November 2023, Dynasty Warriors M's lifespan was relatively short.
Dynasty Warriors M's official EOS date is February 20th, 2025. The final chapter will be released this month.
Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of action and strategy, retaining the core Musou gameplay while adding strategic elements. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, conquering castles across a vast map with 13 regions and 500 stages. The story mode recreated iconic historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
