Special Raid Day Event Coming July 12th

Hisuian Lilligant Makes Its Pokémon Go Debut in Raid Battles

Optional Event Ticket Offers Enhanced Rewards for Participants

Between two major Ultra Unlock events, Pokémon Go has planned an exciting surprise - a special Raid Day introducing Hisuian Lilligant to the game for the first time.

A Blossoming Battle Debut

Hisuian Llligant will appear in Pokémon Go raids on July 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This elegant Grass/Fighting-type Pokémon makes its debut with a chance to encounter its shiny variant during the event. Multiple convenient features will help trainers take advantage of this limited-time opportunity.

Enhanced Raid Participation

From Friday, July 11th at 5:00 p.m. through Saturday, July 12th at 8:00 p.m. PDT, trainers can participate in up to 20 remote raids per day. During the event hours, spinning Gym Photo Discs will provide up to five additional Raid Passes - giving players six total free raid opportunities.

Premium Event Experience

For $4.99, trainers can purchase an optional event ticket that provides:

  • 8 additional Raid Passes (14 total with free passes)
  • Increased Rare Candy XL drop rates
  • 50% XP bonus from raids
  • Double Stardust from raid rewards

The Pokémon Go Web Store offers an Ultra Ticket Box at the same price point, including both the event ticket and a Premium Battle Pass.

Event Context

This floral-themed raid day strategically falls between the ongoing Ultra Unlock: Hisui Celebration (featuring Hisuian Zorua) and the upcoming Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales event introducing Honedge, Doublade, and Aegislash.

These raids continue Pokémon Go's ninth anniversary celebrations, which have featured shiny debuts, special events, and boosted rewards commemorating nearly a decade of Pokémon hunting. Trainers should also redeem active Pokémon Go codes for additional free items.
