Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Confirmed for January 28th
Highly-acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation consoles on January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions were delayed to allow for additional polish and optimization.
Originally launched in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly earned widespread critical praise, solidifying its place as a top-tier puzzle game of the year. Publisher Whitethorn Games announced the delay in December, promising a new release date in 2025, a promise fulfilled on January 9th.
While the January 28th release date is now set, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders are not currently available.
The PlayStation version is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point seen on other platforms, offering a one-time purchase with no microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, which includes a separate digital soundtrack, this add-on is unlikely to be available on PlayStation.
Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup
Botany Manor's strong critical reception, boasting an 83 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic, positions it perfectly to enhance the PlayStation's already impressive puzzle game library. Its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration have resonated strongly with critics and players alike.
With its arrival on PlayStation, Botany Manor will be available on all originally announced platforms. Developer Balloon Studios has yet to announce its next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store on January 28th are Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
