Para celebrar el lanzamiento de la demostración de "Prólogo de Nyras" para el remake Gothic 1, Thq Nordic y Alkimia Interactive han presentado un nuevo y emocionante trailer. En esta versión reinventada del juego clásico, los jugadores entran en el lugar de Nyras, un prisionero que navega por el mundo implacable de Gothic. A pesar del cambio en el protagonista, Nyras comparte el mismo objetivo fundamental que el héroe sin nombre original: sobrevivir.

La demostración se lanzó durante el evento de Steam Next Fest y ha roto rápidamente récords, con el mayor número de jugadores concurrentes vistos en toda la serie gótica:

El segmento de demostración muestra los gráficos mejorados de la remake, las animaciones refinadas y un sistema de combate alimentado por Unreal Engine 5. Si bien el Prólogo ofrece una visión de estas mejoras, solo rasca la superficie de la expansiva libertad de acción y la mecánica de rol rica que se explorarán completamente en la versión completa del juego.
