Test Your Knowledge! How Many Famous Figures From Around the Globe Can You Name?

This app features 476 of the world's most recognizable historical figures: monarchs and leaders, politicians and musicians, actors and film directors. Can you identify the portraits and earn all the stars in every level?

Journey from Alexander the Great to Benjamin Franklin; from Joan of Arc to Fred Astaire; from Louis Armstrong to Winston Churchill.

This is both a history and art quiz. The game is split into two levels based on question difficulty.

Level 1 - 123 well-known individuals (Julius Caesar, Alfred Hitchcock, and others).

Level 2 - 122 more challenging figures: Blaise Pascal, Igor Sikorsky, and other key philosophers, inventors, and rulers.

Additionally, explore four specialized categories:

1) Writers (William Shakespeare and Leo Tolstoy);

2) Composers (Johann Sebastian Bach and Leonard Bernstein);

3) Painters (Michelangelo and Georgia O'Keeffe) and Paintings: Identify the artist (e.g., for "Mona Lisa", answer "Leonardo da Vinci").

4) Scientists (Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin).

In each level, you can choose from several game modes:

* Spelling quizzes (easy and hard difficulty).

* Multiple-choice questions (with 4 or 6 options). Remember, you only have 3 lives.

* Time game (answer as many as you can in 1 minute) - you need over 25 correct answers to earn a star.

Two learning tools let you explore all the featured figures without guessing:

* Flashcards: Find a brief biography for each person and a link to their full encyclopedia entry.

* Detailed tables for each level.

The app is fully translated into 24 languages, including English, French, Spanish, and German.

Ads can be removed with a single in-app purchase.

This quiz is packed with images of legendary men and women from every era and many different countries and cultures. I highly recommend it for anyone with an interest in world history. Do you know what Thomas Edison or Ernest Hemingway looked like? Test your knowledge! I regularly update the app with new figures, and the current total number of famous people included is 476.
